Lab 1.6 Koneksi Internet Routerboard via Wireless

Jumpa lagi di Fajar Blog's. Kali ini saya akan membahas tentang Routerboard lagi. Yap, sesuai judul saya akan berbagi tutorial Koneksi Internet di Routerboard via Wireless. Untuk lebih jelasnya mari simak postingan berikut.
See you again in Fajar Blog's. This time I will discuss about Routerboard again. Yep, according to the title I would share a tutorial Internet Connection on Routerboard via Wireless. For more details, let's look at the following post.

A. Tujuan

A. Purpose
  • Mengetahui konfigurasi untuk koneksi internet di routerboard via wireless.
  • Knowing routerboard configuration for internet connection via wireless.

B. Bahan-bahan

B. Materials
  • 1 Unit PC / Laptop
  • Routerboard
  • Access Point (saya menggunakan BOLT)
  • Kabel UTP 
  • Winbox
  • Browser

C. Langkah Kerja

C. Steps

Hubungkan Routerboard anda ke Laptop / PC dengan kabel UTP ke Ether2.
Connect your Routerboard to Laptop / PC with a UTP cable to ether2.

Buka winbox lalu klik "..." dan klik MAC Address routerboard untuk meremotenya. Lalu login menggunakan user "admin" dengan password kosong kemudian klik "Connect"
Open winbox then click "..." and click the routerboard MAC Address for remote. Then login using the user "admin" with empty password and click "Connect"


I. Reset konfigurasi routerboard
I. Reset routerboard configuration

Via Winbox (GUI)
Untuk mereset konfigurasi via winbox, klik " System -> Reset Configuration "
For reset configuration via winbox, click " System -> Reset Configuration "

Klik "No Default Configuration" agar tidak ada konfigurasi di Routerboard.
Click "No Default Configuration" for no configuration in Routerboard.

Via Terminal (CLI)
Untuk mereset konfigurasi via terminal, ketikkan perintah
For reset configuration via terminal, write command
system reset-configuration no-default=yes


Buka lagi winbox lalu klik "..." dan klik MAC Address routerboard untuk meremotenya. Lalu login menggunakan user "admin" dengan password kosong kemudian klik "Connect"
Open again winbox then click "..." and click the routerboard MAC Address for remote. Then login using the user "admin" with empty password and click "Connect"


Koneksi wifi di routerboard
Klik "Wireless" lalu aktifkan wireless pada Routerboard dengan mengklik wlan1 dan mengklik icon ceklis.
Click "Wireless" then enable the Routerboard wireless by clicking wlan1 and clicking on the icon checklist.

Jika wireless telah aktif, double klik pada wlan1.
If wireless is active, double click on wlan1.

Klik "Scan" untuk mencari wi-fi yang aktif.
Click "Scan" for scanning active wifi.

Pilih wifi yang akan digunakan untuk routerboard, lalu klik "Connect"
Select wifi for routerboard connection, then click "Connect"

Jika sudah, klik "Apply" dan "OK"
If already, click "Apply" and "OK"

Karena wifi yang saya gunakan memiliki password, maka kita harus mengisi passwordnya terlebih dahulu. Klik tab "Security Profiles" lalu klik icon plus.
Because the wifi has a password, then we have to fill out the password first. Click the tab "Security Profiles" and then click the plus icon.

Isikan nama, beri ceklis pada semua. Isikan pula password pada kolom nomor 3 (lihat gambar). Jika sudah klik "Apply" dan "OK"
Fill in name, give the checklist at all. Fill in the password on the column number 3 (see picture). If you have click "Apply" and "OK"

Pada tab "Interface", double klik pada wlan1. Di "Security Profile" pilih nama password yang tadi telah dibuat. Lalu klik "Apply" dan "OK"
On the "Interface" tab, double click on wlan1. In the "Security Profile" select name password that had been made. Then click "Apply" and "OK"

Jika terdapat huruf "R", maka wireless sudah berjalan (Running)
If showing the "R", wireless is already running.


Karena Routerboard ini belum mendapat IP Address, gunakan DHCP Client agar mendapat IP Address. Klik " IP -> DHCP Client "
Because this Routerboard not have  IP address, use the DHCP Client to get the IP Address. Click the "IP -> DHCP Client"

Klik icon plus.
Click the plus icon.

Di tab DHCP, pilih "wlan1" untuk interface. Jika sudah klik "Apply" dan "OK"
In DHCP tab, select "wlan1" for interface. If already click "Apply" and "OK"

Maka Routerboard akan mendapatkan IP Address.
Then Routerboard will get an IP Address.

Coba lakukan pengetesan dengan ping ke google.
Try to test connection with ping to google.

Konfigurasi untuk klien
Selanjutnya adalah konfigurasi untuk klien agar dapat terhubung ke internet. Klik " IP -> Addressed "
Next configuration for client to connected internet. Click " IP -> Addressed "

Tambahkan IP Address untuk client dengan mengklik ikon plus.
Add the IP Address for client by clicking plus icon.

Isikan IP Address pada kolom Address, untuk interface pilih "ether2". Jika sudah klik "Apply" dan "OK".
Fill in the IP Address in the Address field, select "ether2" for interface. If you have click "Apply" and "OK"

Konfigurasi firewall agar dapat terhubung ke internet. Klik " IP -> Firewall "
Configure the firewall for internet connection. Click " IP -> Firewall "

Klik tab "NAT" lalu tambahkan dengan mengklik ikon plus.
Click the "NAT" tab then add with clicking the plus icon.

Di tab "General", pilih "wlan1" untuk Out Interface.
In "General" tab, select "wlan1" for Out Interface.

Di tab "Action", pilih "masqurade" untuk Action.
In "Action" tab, select "masqurade" for Action.


Konfigurasi di Client
Atur IP Address di client sesuai dengan IP yang telah dibuat tadi. Tadi saya sudah membuat IP 10.10.10.1/24. IP Address 10.10.10.1 adalah IP Gateway. Isikan IP Address sesuai network yang telah dibuat, lalu pada gateway isikan IP Address yang telah dibuat tadi. Jika sudah klik "OK"
Set the IP address in the client in accordance with the IP that was created earlier. I had already made the IP 10.10.10.1/24. 10.10.10.1 IP Address is the IP Gateway. Fill in the appropriate network IP address that has been made, then input gateway IP address that was created earlier. If you have click "OK"

Lakukan pengecekan lewat command promt. Lakukan ping untuk mengetest koneksi.
Test your internet connection via command promt. Test connection with ping.

Test juga dengan menggunakan browser. Terlihat bahwa koneksi internet routerboard via wireless berhasil.
Test again with browser. Internet Connection in Routerboard via Wireless is succesfull.
